Each Wednesday a coffee morning is held in the Church Room by the OHS Community Centre, Onehouse from 10.30am until noon. This is open to all residents, men as well as women, young as well as old, who are welcome to come along for a chat and a coffee or tea. It is a chance to meet others from around the parishes and is a non-religious meeting.
There are books to browse through and take away to read if you wish. There is a fair trade stall with a wide variety of goods, not just tea or coffee, but biscuits, chocolate, sugar, muesli and other grains as well. John, the mobile greengrocer, has said that he can add the room to his ports of call if anyone is afraid of missing him at their home.
Although the refreshments are free you can make a small donation to the running costs if you feel so inclined.
